Ohio resident convicted of forgery in West Virginia

OHIO — An Akron woman has been convicted of forgery in West Virginia after providing a false name during a traffic stop.

Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney Derek Laxton announced that Myaira Harding, 21, of Akron, pled guilty on September 10, 2025, to the felony offense of Forgery of a Public Document.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on November 5 in Wyoming County Circuit Court, where she faces a potential prison term of two to ten years…
