Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest to feature beer, entertainment, soapmaking demos

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio – The annual Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest returns to the city’s downtown Sept. 19-21.

It’s the 45th year for the festival, which features free admission and entertainment, German and American food and local brews. Festival hours are Friday from 5-11 p.m., Saturday from noon-11 p.m. and Sunday from noon-8 p.m.

Musical and dance performances will be held throughout the festival at the Biergarten Stage (the amphitheater near Broad Boulevard) and the German Central Stage (near Portage Trail). Attendees can also enjoy strolling accordion performances and view live soapmaking demonstrations from Hope Soap Ohio. The local soap company will be making Oktoberfest Ale soaps, according to the event website…
