In a substantial strike on local criminal enterprises, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office has announced an impressive haul from a recent multi-jurisdictional operation. In a post on their official Facebook page, the Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of 34 individuals, alongside the confiscation of a significant arsenal of weapons and a variety of drugs. The operation, which demonstrated effective coordination between law enforcement agencies, resulted in the seizure of 32 pistols, one revolver, six rifles, two suppressors, and one machine gun conversion device, as well as substantial amounts of cocaine, crack, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and fentanyl.
According to the details shared by the Sheriff’s Office, the operation was clearly a high-stakes effort in combating drug and weapons trafficking. “We’re happy to have assisted in this multi-jurisdictional operation that led to the arrest of 34 suspects and the seizure of 32 pistols, one revolver, six rifles, two suppressors, and one machine gun conversion device, 417 grams of powdered cocaine, 376 grams of crack, 94 grams of heroin, 4663 grams of methamphetamine, 443 grams of marijuana, and 134 grams of fentanyl,” the Summit County Sheriff’s Office stated on their social media post.
