Medina City Schools announced it has received an overall rating of 4.5 stars on the 2025 Ohio Department of Education state report card, placing the district among the top 25% of districts statewide.
The state report card provides families and communities with a snapshot of how schools are performing. Districts are evaluated on six components that reflect both academic outcomes and student readiness: achievement, progress, gap closing, graduation, early literacy, and college, career, workforce and military readiness.
Medina City Schools’ 2025 component ratings were:
- Achievement — 4 stars
- Progress — 4 stars
- Gap closing — 5 stars
- Graduation — 5 stars
- Early literacy — 3 stars
- College, career, workforce and military readiness — 3 stars
