Suspect who died in Brunswick police custody had been smashing bottles, making threats, authorities say

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A man who died in Brunswick police custody had been smashing bottles and making threats before his arrest, authorities said.

At 6 p.m. Friday, police responded to a BP gas station at Pearl and Boston roads after a 911 caller reported a man smashing bottles of wine on the gas station floor after using the restroom.
