The Regal Cinema in Akron’s Chapel Hill area is dimming its lights permanently.
An employee who declined to be named confirmed the cineplex, known as Regal Independence at 1210 Independence Ave., is concluding its operations after all scheduled Sept. 25 showtimes are completed.
