SOLON, Ohio — A Cleveland area mother says she is shaken after her 4-year-old son slipped out of a day care center Sunday morning and was found by a stranger walking near the street.
Indyia McWhorter says she dropped off her son, Nova-Haleem, at the Higher Achievement Center on Station Street in Solon just before 11 a.m. before heading to her job less than a half-mile away.
“That’s my only child. That’s literally all I got right now,” McWhorter said. “I don’t have family to help me like that on the weekends so that’s why I put him in the day care to help me.”…
