Woman shot in North Canton apartment; police fired on; suspect in custody

A suspect is in custody after law enforcement agents surrounded a North Canton apartment building where a woman was shot and police were fired on while rescuing her.

North Canton police update on apartment shooting

The suspect, later identified as 38-year-old Brian Keith Francisco II, is charged with three counts of felonious assault, two counts of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and one count of inducing panic. All six charges are felonies.
