Enbridge gas customers in Northeast Ohio to see slight drop in monthly bills by Oct. 31

CLEVELAND — More than a million residents across Northeast Ohio will soon see a small drop in their natural gas bills.

“Just a little bit, but I’m sure everyone will agree every little bit helps,” said Matt Schilling, a spokesman for the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

During PUCO’s meeting on Wednesday, state regulators approved an order that would lower Enbridge Gas’ residential bills by about $2 a month. Enbridge, which operates as East Ohio Gas, serves more than 1.1 million customers across Northeast Ohio — including most households in Cuyahoga, Summit, Geauga, Lake, and Portage counties…
