STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Hundreds packed the Strongsville Commons Saturday, crowding around the gazebo and spilling along the northeast edge of Royalton and Pearl roads, their handmade signs and chants transforming the quiet square into a chorus of dissent.
As protesters waved posters reading messages like “No Kings,” “Melt ICE” and “Defend Our Democracy,” the crowd broke into a reworked version of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” — belting out:
“Please just resign, you have never made things good … no good, no good, no good. Out of your mind … blah, blah, blah.…
