Mega Millions jackpot grows again, after no winners Friday

(WJW) — The Mega Millions jackpot has swelled to $650 million, the 10th largest jackpot in the game’s 23-year history.

There were no winners in the Friday night, Oct. 17, drawing, which included white balls 9, 21, 27, 48 and 56, and the gold Mega Ball 10, according to a Saturday news release from the lottery.

The last time there was a top-10 jackpot was December 2024, when it hit $1.269 billion.

There was no big winning ticket, but 416,751 smaller ones across all prize tiers. The lottery is paying out more than $8.5 million.
