Mahoning man gets 9 years for stabbing during alleged Ravenna drug deal

An Austintown man will spend at least nine years in prison after he admitted stabbing another man in June during an alleged drug deal in Ravenna.

Judge Laurie J. Pittman sentenced Frank Nichola Vetrano, 38, to nine to 12 years in prison during his sentencing hearing Oct. 17 in Portage County Common Pleas Court, according to Portage County Prosecutor Connie Lewandowski.
