LAKEMORE — Lakemore Village Mayor Richard Cole recognized the 55th anniversary of the Springfield Lake Roller Rink with a proclamation honoring the milestone presented to owner Rosemary Neitz at the Oct. 20 Village Council meeting.
Cole called the roller rink a blessing to the community, recalling “so many wonderful, joyous” experiences there.
“I hope there are 55 more [years] and then some,” Cole said before reading the proclamation, which recognized the family-owned business “bringing smiles, joy and cherished memories to generations of children and families in Lakemore. We honor this monumental milestone and express our heartfelt appreciation for your enduring commitment to our community with gratitude and respect.”…
