For Medina’s Andrew Talbert, Halloween is more than just a night of costumes and candy — it’s a way to bring the community together and raise money for a good cause.
The 21-year-old has spent years transforming his family’s front yard at 5855 Northampton Drive into one of the area’s largest Halloween displays, complete with lights, animatronics and handmade props. What started when he was six years old with a three-foot inflatable ghost has grown into a display featuring more than 30 animatronic figures.
Talbert said he began using his display to raise money for local animal charities several years ago. This year, donations will again benefit the Medina County SPCA…
