Stow will swear in its first female police chief next month

A new chief will helm the Stow police department next month.

Lt. Heather Prusha, a police officer with the Stow police for 20 years, will officially be sworn in as the city’s first female police chief at 3 p.m. Nov. 14 in Stow City Council Chambers inside City Hall, 3760 Darrow Road.
