CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A largely-vacant downtown Canton building looks to take on new life, if a plan espoused by Mayor Bill Sherer comes together.
He tells WHBC News that the city is close to signing a deal with AEP Ohio to hand over the former AEP headquarters building at Cleveland Avenue and 3rd Street SW and its associated parking lots to the city.
He says the plan even involves bringing 100-plus AEP billing and collection jobs back to the top floor of that building…
