The scent of slow-roasted beef and barbecue smoke has drifted from The Barn Restaurant for four decades, turning a former dairy farm into a Wayne County institution.
The 26,000-square-foot eatery at 877 West Main Street opened in 1983 under the Dravenstott family, father Don and sons Mike, Mark and Don; who transformed the barn’s hayloft and cattle stalls into dining rooms.
