AKRON, Ohio — As SNAP uncertainties remain, the Akron-Canton Foodbank is inviting people to its slew of pop-up pantries between the months of November and December to get the food they need.
There are two pop-up pantry formats:
- Walk-thru: Neighbors choose their own grocery items. Dress for the weather and bring bags.
- Drive-thru: These distributions are designed for speed and convenience. Volunteers place pre-assembled bags/boxes into neighbor vehicles.
