WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) – On November 11 two arrests were made in connection with the seizure of 689.66 grams of methamphetamine and 10.88 grams of cocaine.
A deputy was patrolling near mile marker 8 of Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township when a black SUV when tinted windows and an unreadable license plate passed him.
During the traffic stop, the driver was identified as Anthony Kramer, age 39 of Barberton, Ohio, and the passenger as Alisha Wright, age 43 of Medina, Ohio.
A free air sniff was conducted by K9 Ozna who indicated the presence of illegal narcotics. This led to a probable cause search, where a large amount of suspected methamphetamine and suspected crack/cocaine was located in a plastic bag on the rear floorboard behind the center console, within reach and in the general vicinity of both Kramer and Wright.
Kramer and Wright both denied knowledge of the suspected drugs. Both were placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail…
