WOOSTER, Ohio (WJW) – We love to share pictures from FOX 8 viewers of the unique and unusual animals spotted around Northeast Ohio.
White, or albino, are some of the most common, yet rare, animals we see.

But, here is one even more unusual. The picture of a black squirrel with a white tail, white paws, and a white mouth. Pictures were shared by FOX 8 viewer Sydney Sherrieb in Wooster.
In an email to FOX 8, Sherrieb said the eye-catching critter lives in her neighborhood and has become a “neighborhood celebrity.”

“Known by the name of “white tail”, “Oreo”, and “sku-rrel” (skunk-squirrel). No one has ever seen anything like it! It’s the mascot of Sunnyview Lane!” wrote Sherrieb.
A couple of years ago, a FOX 8 viewer in Olmsted Township shared a similar, unusually colored squirrel. And last year, a white squirrel with black-tipped tail and paws was spotted in Hartville.
