He’s been with the Stow Police Department since 1991 and has served as police chief since 2014.

“It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your Chief of Police over the past 11 years. When I was sworn in as a new recruit in August 1991, I never imagined I would one day have the privilege of leading this department. From the beginning, I have been humbled by the trust placed in me and inspired by the strength, character, and support of this community,” Film said in a press release.

“When I first applied to the City of Stow, I had to look up its location on a map. Over the past 34 years, it has become my home. I am profoundly grateful to have served you, and I thank you for allowing me the privilege of being your Chief of Police.”
