Investigators raid local smoke shop accused of making illegal sales

BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – Authorities raided a local smoke shop accused of making illegal marijuana sales.

Bainbridge Township police, along with the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant Thursday morning at the A1 Smoke Shop on East Washington Street in Bainbridge Township.

Investigators said the business had been illegally operating as a marijuana dispensary. Authorities also reported a pattern of underage sales.

According to the county prosecutor, there are no licensed marijuana dispensaries in Geauga County and Bainbridge Township prohibits them entirely.
