Ohio–Pennsylvania–New York Weather Alert: Lake Effect Snow Returns Sunday-Wednesday After Thanksgiving

Erie, PA – A cold and windy pattern developing after Thanksgiving could bring lake effect snow to areas downwind of the Great Lakes, including northwest Pennsylvania, northeast Ohio, and western New York, according to the National Weather Service in State College.

The NOAA Climate Prediction Center has outlined a slight risk of heavy snow beginning Sunday, Nov. 30 through Wednesday, Dec. 3, for typical snowbelt regions near Erie, Jamestown, and Cleveland
