OHIO — Northeastern Ohio is bracing for hazardous travel conditions as heavy lake effect snow is forecast to impact several counties from early Thursday through Friday evening.
The National Weather Service has issued Lake Effect Snow Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for Cuyahoga, Geauga, Ashtabula, Lake, Portage, and Trumbull counties.
Snow totals are expected to vary significantly by location. The heaviest accumulations, between 8 and 13 inches, are expected in Geauga County, Ashtabula County, and southeastern Cuyahoga County.
Lighter snow totals of 3 to 6 inchesare forecast in northern Portage County, while northern Lake County and northern Cuyahoga County may see 4 inches or less. Trumbull County could see 3 to 5 inches in the north and 1 to 3 inches in the southern portion…
