Licensing your dog in Summit County just got easier, and more helpful if your pup ever goes missing.
Summit County Fiscal Officer Kristen Scalise has launched a new partnership with DocuPet, a modern online licensing platform that includes a free 24/7 lost-pet recovery service called HomeSafe.
With the new system, pet owners can:
- License dogs online quickly
- Choose from hundreds of colorful tag designs, or customize their own (for an added fee)
- Link tags to a secure online profile using a unique code
- File lost or found pet reports instantly
- Get support from DocuPet’s dispatch team anytime
