CUYAHOGA FALLS — The City of Cuyahoga Falls will partner with the City of Akron to develop what will be the largest solar project on a landfill in the country, according to Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Walters.
Council Nov. 24 authorized a lease agreement with Akron to lease the closed Hardy Road landfill for the purpose of constructing a city-owned 20 megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) solar array.
