Police responded to a call from a resident at 6:05 a.m. Nov. 21 that a suspicious person was cutting trees in a wooded area behind her home. Officers observed the man cutting the trees with a hatchet, and later questioned him when it was determined the woods were on township property. Police advised the man he was not permitted to cut the trees and he may face criminal mischief charges if he continues to do so…
