After two mistrials, jury selection will begin Dec. 9 in the third murder trial of Jashawn Ray, 31, of Youngstown. He is accused of fatally shooting 24-year-old Sydney Horton inside her Kenmore home in January 2023.
By the time police discovered Horton’s decomposing body on Feb. 3 during a welfare check, she had likely died about nine days earlier, according to investigators.
