Ohio man sentenced for drug charge in Wyoming County

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A man from Ohio was sentenced for a drug crime in West Virginia.

According to a press release from the Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney, 20-year-old Lucas Alexander Robinson, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to one to fifteen years in prison for possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Tazewell County man arrested for multiple charges

The press release stated that members of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robinson in the Lynco area of Wyoming County. When Robinson was arrested, more than $3,000 in cash, as well as fentanyl and oxycodone, was found in Robinson’s car and recovered by members of law enforcement.

According to the press release, Robinson will start serving his sentence after being remanded to the West Virginia Division of Corrections, and he also has pending outstanding warrants from Ohio…
