Two killed in local crash, vehicle split in two: Police

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – Two men in their 20s have died after local police said the vehicle they were traveling in went off the side of the road, hit a tree and split in two.

The scene unfolded shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, in the 9400 block of West Ridgewood Drive in Parma Heights.

According to a media release, the two occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead on scene and later identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office as Vladyslav Andriy Kravtsiv, 23, of Parma, and George Prediy, 27, of North Royalton.

The crash remains under investigation; however, officials said, “it is clear that speed was a factor in this incident.”…
