MASSILLON, Ohio — Gayle and Larry Simcox thought they’d be spending Christmas without their daughter Shannon this year. But Rose Lane Rehabilitation and Nursing had other plans.
On Thursday, the facility surprised the couple by flying Shannon Popko in from Sarasota, Florida — more than a thousand miles away — for an emotional holiday reunion.
