On Wednesday, Dec. 3, students in Señora Calaiacovo’s Spanish classes participated in a cultural enrichment activity, learning the fundamentals of salsa dancing.
Guest instructors Heather Venesile and Denise Hutton of the Salsa Enthusiasts visited Medina High School to lead students through basic Cuban salsa steps, creating an energetic and memorable learning experience.
During 11th period, students from intervention specialist Mrs. Kearny’s and Ms. Forte’s classes joined the session, filling the room with enthusiasm as they listened to lively music and practiced their new dance moves alongside the Spanish students.
