Cleveland man indicted for murder at RTA station, bond set at $1 million

CLEVELAND — Donnie Allen, the 25-year-old Cleveland man accused of killing Benjamin McComas of Avon Lake in a shooting at an RTA station, has been indicted by a Cuyahoga County grand jury.

According to court records, he was indicted on the following charges

  • 1 count of aggravated murder
  • 2 counts of murder
  • 2 counts of aggravated robbery
  • 2 counts of felonious assault
  • 1 count of having weapons while under disability

During an arraignment hearing on Dec. 26, Allen pleaded not guilty to the charges. A $1 million bond was set and Allen is ordered to have no contact with the victim’s family.

A pre-trial hearing has been set for Jan. 5, 2026, at 9 a.m.
