Man found shot to death on front porch in Akron

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – The death of a 29-year-old man is being investigated by the Summit County Medical Examiner and the Akron Police Department.

According to a news release from the medical examiner, police responded to a home on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, in the 1000 block of Elwell Court just after 10 p.m.
