STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The North Canton man accused of shooting a woman at an apartment complex and shooting at police officers, has a competency hearing in Stark County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday.
Brian Fransisco was indicted on the charges of felonious assault, discharging a firearm into a habitation or school, inducing panic, and criminal damaging.
Around 9 a.m. on Oct. 9, 2025, North Canton police said Fransisco shot a woman inside an apartment complex in the 100 block of Applegrove St.
