$2M bond set for suspect accused of killing Maple Heights man Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The 20-year-old Cleveland man accused of a murder in April 2025, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Cleveland Municipal Court Friday.

The judge ordered Leantoine Bates held on a $2 million bond.

Cleveland police said Bates fatally shot Raymel Ryan on April 24, 2025.
