Prosecutors say Stark County man was at seven Rwandan genocide sites

The jury trial for a Stark County man accused of Rwandan genocide more than 30 years ago is imminent — and more specifics of the case against him recently came to light.

Eric Nshimiye, husband, father of four and member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in North Canton, was arrested by federal authorities at his Lake Township home in early 2024.
