Weather Impact Alert: System snow to transition to lake effect snow Wednesday, impacting travel

CLEVELAND — The next bigger weather system will come marching our way here in Northeast Ohio on Wednesday and our next Weather Impact Alert will line up with the impacts from the colder side of this system.

Highs will happen before Wednesday’s sunrise and then temperatures will be falling through the day. Things start off in the 30s with some rain initially. As temperatures fall, snow will develop for most by lunchtime.

Snow for everyone by the evening commute with temperatures in the 20s. Expect some travel issues, especially where the snow is actively falling.
