A strong cold front will move across the Canton area and all of northern Ohio on Jan. 14, causing a quick transition from rain to snow, the National Weather Service predicts.
Travel may become hazardous as quickly falling temperatures may result in icy roadways and snow squalls. Motorists are advised to allow plenty of travel time for the evening commute, when an inch of snow may fall quickly.
