CANTON ‒ A cat was found unharmed after firefighters extinguished a fire that started in the attic of a multi-unit home at 1220 Louisiana Ave. NW on the afternoon of Jan. 14.
The Canton Fire Department was called at 1:15 p.m. and arrived at 1:19 p.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the attic.
