A youth incarcerated at a troubled state-run juvenile prison suffered a serious injury Monday in a fight.
The Ohio Department of Youth Services, which operates the state’s three youth prisons and patrol system, said in a written statement the boy is hospitalized and state officials are in close contact with his family. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
