Money L. Baccus sentenced to 31 years to life for aggravated murder

CANTON − A Canton woman charged with killing her sister’s partner was convicted Jan. 16 of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault and sentenced to 31 years to life in prison.

Sitting at the defense table and looking toward the bench, Money L. Baccus, 19, showed no emotion as Stark County Common Pleas Judge Taryn Heath read the guilty verdicts. A sheriff’s deputy then handcuffed her hands behind her back for sentencing.

Baccus will be imprisoned until she’s 49 before she can be considered for parole…
