MEDINA — While considering the teachings of Martin Luther King Jr., people packed 800 emergency kits on Sunday night to be distributed to the Little Free Food Pantries throughout Medina.
The volunteering project, spearheaded by nonprofit Spark Medina, encouraged people to spend their “day off” for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday as a “day on” for service and reflection.
