Keith Redmon grew up in the funeral home business. Literally.
Redmon said that he was 2 and his older brother Kevin was 5 when they moved to their home on 3633 Darrow Road in Stow. That home would officially open as Redmon Funeral Home by parents Bruce and Lou-Ann Redmon in 1968.
“I grew up here, upstairs,” said Redmon, who became a licensed funeral director in 1989. “We were raised here. This has been my home. We always considered this, the funeral home, as the third child. The first floor chapel was where we had the funerals and the services. It was really small, and the only bathroom for folks was upstairs. It was definitely a different way of growing up.”…
