MEDINA, Ohio – Kim Krzemienieswki is the newest Board of Trustees member for the Medina County District Library. She was sworn in at the Jan. 19 board meeting by Court of Common Pleas Judge Bill Hutson and will serve a four-year term through 2029.
Krzemienieswki is a Medina County native who lives in Spencer Township with her husband, Mitch, and daughter. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University where she earned a Masters of Applied Social Sciences specializing in children, youth and families. Her BS in neuroscience and psychology is from Baldwin-Wallace College. Kim has worked at Oberlin College and is currently in private practice. She serves on the Medina County F1RST team, offering group debriefing and resourcing to first responders who have gone through significant work-related stress. She also serves on Spencer Township’s Board of Zoning Appeals. Krzemienieswki built a Little Free Library at the end of the family driveway, and she loves it when anyone stops to browse.
“I feel such a privilege to serve our community on the Medina County District Library Board,” she said. “A library is a sanctuary for everyone, and books can expand our world and perception endlessly. Libraries are essential to the foundation of care, connection and wellness in our communities.”…
