Akron man faces murder charge after Coshocton County deputies find body

COSHOCTON − An Akron man who attempted to dispose of a dead body in Coshocton County has been incarcerated at the Coshocton Justice Center on a $2 million bond.

Det. Seth Andrews said deputies found the body of Nathan Ketterman, 44, of Akron, on Jan. 23 in a wooded area near Township Road 249. The suspected date of death is Jan. 11. Andrews said Ketterman’s family has been notified.

Douglas Harvey, 44, of Akron, was discovered near the location of the body and taken into custody by authorities, Andrews stated. On Jan. 24, Harvey was formally charged with aggravated murder, an unclassified felony…
