South Euclid Woman Killed in Fatal Collision at Hinckley Township Intersection, OSHP Investigating

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Medina Post is currently investigating a fatal traffic collision that took the life of a South Euclid woman this past Saturday morning. According to a release from OSHP, as reported by Cleveland19, the accident occurred at approximately 9:46 a.m. at the intersection of State Road and Route 303 in Hinckley Township.

The involved vehicles were identified as a 2018 Ford Fusion, driven by 40-year-old Halley Woodward, and a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado, operated by 41-year-old Mathew Bigadza. The Ford was traveling northbound on State Road and, after failing to yield at a stop sign while turning west onto Route 303, it was struck by the Chevrolet coming from the east. Both drivers were reportedly wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident, this detail was confirmed by a report from WKYC.

EMS transported Woodward to Brunswick Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. The severity of the crash formed a stark contrast to the outcome for Bigadza, who sustained only minor injuries and was not taken by EMS for further treatment.
