BRIMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – The man and child who were involved in a small plane crash in Portage County on Sunday afternoon have been identified.
According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the plane crash, involving a Piper Cub J3C‑65 (tail # N5930V) two‑seat aircraft, happened just after 2:30 p.m. in a wooded area near 3222 Ranfield Road, west of State Route 44 in Brimfield Township.

The pilot was identified as 47-year-old Bryan Jorgensen. The passenger on the flight was his 12-year-old daughter, the release said.
