AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – An hours-long standoff in Akron came to an end late Wednesday afternoon after officers discovered a wanted man, who’d barricaded himself in the home, hiding behind a false wall inside the residence.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force were attempting to take 35-year-old Tristan Dent into custody at a home in the 200 block of Kenilworth Ave. in Akron.
