AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — General visitation is closed at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Saturday and the hospital’s emergency department is on diversion after a water main break overnight.

Additionally, all outpatient cardiac, radiation oncology, and radiology appointments scheduled for Saturday are canceled at the downtown campus located at 1 Akron General Ave., a statement from the hospital said.
“All hospitalized patients continue to receive care, and the Emergency Department is open for patients,” the statement said.
